Picasa Photo Organizer is a photo manager that can work on any Windows machine out there, but the way it does is really impressive.
Basically, the application has been specifically developed to help keep all photos organized, regardless if you’d like to sort them by album, date or some other type of information.
Installation is pretty easy since it’s an application developed by Google, so let’s skip directly to the fun part.
The interface is pleasant, very pleasant we’d say and allows you to browse through your photos in a second. It automatically scans a desired location for pictures and organizes them on folders, showing you thumbnails for instant browsing.
Besides the fact that it’s such a powerful photo manager, Picasa Photo Organizer also provides some nice editing functions that allowed us to put up to test some of the things we’ve learned in Photoshop a few years ago. Don’t get us wrong, there’s nothing too complicated, but just basic things to make minor adjustments to your images.
Because we’ve told you about an online account, yes, Picasa Photo Organizer can automatically synchronize your library with a Picasa online account, so that you can share and show photos to your friends in a second.
Plus, there’s a backup function for “just in case”, a picture collage creator, a batch editing script, a folder manager and many, many other goodies that can make your life a lot easier.
