International Cricket Captain, often known as ICC for short, is a series of cricket management video games by Empire Interactive, and then by Childish Things since International Cricket Captain 2009, before which Empire went into administration. It rose to popularity in 1998 following the release of the first PC-based game in the series. The most recent version of the game isInternational Cricket Captain 2012.

The concept for International Cricket Captain was the brainchild of Chris Child, who programmed the original game engine as a university project. The player takes control of an English County Cricket squad with the aim of leading them to success in the domestic competition and ultimately being asked to take up the position of England manager. There is also an added option in later games in the ICC series to take control of one of the other Test playing nations.

Taking inspiration from the hugely successful Championship Manager series of games, most aspects of a management sim are present in ICC, with the ability to coach players on their individual skills, scout opposition and buy and sell players at the end of each season. There are also comprehensive statistics available in the form of career stats pages for each player and team. Graphs and charts help the gamer to select the strongest team possible against particular opposition.

 Cadillacs and Dinosaurs The Arcade Game (known in Japan as Cadillacs Kyouryuu Shin Seiki) is a 1992 arcade game released by Capcom. It is a beat ‘em up based upon the comic Xenozoic Tales which was created by Mark Schultz in the late eighties. The game-play is like that of many other side-scrolling beat’em up games of the time, such as Streets of Rage or Final Fight. A distinctive feature of this game is the frequent use of firearms, rarely seen on other games of its kind, which normally favored weapons such as bottles and knives. There is also a sequence in which the player can get control of the titular vehicle by radioing for it. It is difficult to keep the car intact for long, because the boss at the end of the sequence (Hogg) is armed with grenades.

Cricket 1997 - Ashes Tour Edition Free Download

Cricket 97 is a cricket game for PCs that was released in 1997. The sequel to Cricket 96, it was developed by Melbourne House (as Beam Software) and published by EA Sports. It was the final cricket game in the series to be developed by Melbourne House, EA Sports followed Cricket 97 with Cricket World Cup 99, developed by Creative Assembly

Compared to the previous game, the improvement in graphics continued with three-dimensional stadiums (though players remained rendered as sprites). Cricketing legends Ritchie Benaud and Ian Botham for the first time provided commentary and also featured in full motion video interludes. The game did not feature real player names as with previous games in the series (with real Australian and English sides appearing for the first time in the game's successor, Ashes Tour Edition.

Ashes Tour Edition

A re-release of the game entitled the Ashes Tour Edition featured the English and Australian tour squads for the 1997 Ashes series. Ashes Cricket 2013 is scheduled to release in 2013

New Zealand Team Disc

Following the Ashes Tour Edition an update disc was released to include the New Zealand Cricket Team. This disc included official players, portraits and statistics from the New Zealand side at the time. This was intended to make Cricket 97 the most realistic cricket game on the market at the time.

Another re-release of Cricket 97 followed later with the release of Cricket Ashes Tour, with updated stats and players from the 1998/99 Ashes tour.
